Any tips on how to win big and where to gamble would really help me.

well, if you play poker go for it!, there is a rake take by the house, but you play against other, not the house! and that a game you can beat, cash games or tournaments.
You can play Blackjack too, that’s the game with the best odds against the house.

    Take care

Card games are the best. You will actually have some kind of control in your decisions. Slots are pure luck and bad luck the majority of the time. Even if it’s limited control with the card games some control is better than none. Poker is the best.

Black Jack, but i suggest you understand the methods to the game….i.e. taking a card, staying, double down, split etc…

Probably the best game is blackjack, but there’s a catch. You have to be really good at blackjack. Just knowing basic strategy isn’t always enough. The house edge will vary wildly, and if you don’t know what rules give or take your advantage, then you can be much worse off than you think. If you do play Blackjack anyways, atleast make sure you can double on any 2 cards, blackjack pays 3 to 2, and dealer stands on all 17’s. Try to be able to resplit aces as well, and NEVER play double exposure (dealer takes pushes which is a HUGE edge)

Baccarat is one of the other top three card games, and is actually quite simple. Always bet the banker no matter what, and the house has a relatively small edge. In reality the player has the edge, but the house takes a 5% commission on winning hands.

Pai-Gow poker is the last of the top 3 card games, but is relatively complicated to play, and it may be difficult to find a house in Vegas that doesn’t take commission.

Roulette can be a good time, and is easy to play as well. There are only 4 bets to look at on a roulette table, and that’s Red, Black, Even or Odd. Your edge is the same on all of them.

Craps seems like an intimidating game, but in reality is quite simple. The best edge you can get is to simply play the pass line. If you do that and make no other bets, you have some of the best odds you can get anywhere. Just make sure that it’s standard craps and not one of the ridiculous variations that are popping up all over.

For slots, just make sure if you play that you get a 99%+ return machine. The Palms had a 100% return on some machines for a while (meaning the house pays back 100% of what it takes, and that’s right, they make no money on these particular slots, they’re just to draw people to their casino). Try to aim for lower jackpot payouts, as those machines tend to hold a smaller percentage towards the jackpot.

Really, that’s about it. The best bet is to never play “sucker bets” or “side bets” and if you play blackjack, never buy insurance. Without being a blackjack pro, your highest edge will be on craps on the pass line.

But most of all, remember to have a good time, and any gambling money should be expected to be lost, or you’ll be dissapointed. Remember that casinos are there for entertainment, and they’re opened for a reason, and that reason isn’t because they pay people :)

Poker is the only game in the whole casino that does not have an advantage over you. All other casino games have an edge on you, no matter how small of a edge they still get your money. Casinos are not made on winning players.

the bank bet at pai gow. but you gotta have the cash

It really depends on your skill level. Poker takes a rake from each pot and the house has no interest in the outcome of the game. In blackjack if you are skilled at counting cards, the odds can actually swing in your favor. But if you are just an average player or dont know much of what you’re doing, your odds at winning would actually be better at the slot machines. There is no skill involved when playing the slots. And I have seen many players at the card tables that have zero chance of getting up a winner.
