What is the best way to win at a slot machine or Video Lottery Terminal (VLT, kinda like slots)?

I know they are “random” and its all pretty much dumb luck. But seems like everyone wins except me. Any hints?

all the “beat the slots” guides are BS. There is no ’system’ for winning, it is pure luck whether you win or lose. The odds of winning a jackpot are up to 1 in 50,000,000 (depending on where you are playing).

Stop playing the slots and switch to Video Poker. Due to the fact each hand only has 52 different cards available, there is a system that will work if u sit at the same machine long enough and play the correct way.

It is usually a matter of having a big enough bankroll for the probability of very large numbers to come into play. All slots will eventually take in a house percentage, but the longer you play, you increase your chances of a jackpot. Few have the guts to stick around long enough and I don’t blame them, after all, it’s just as easy to lose it all. So don’t ever bet what you can’t afford to lose. And yes….perfect play at video poker has better odds than any slot machine.

okay, i won twice in the same summer on the mermaid machine at amerastar. each time i hit $400 on the pennies and this is how i did it both times : i put $80 in the machine to start and hit max bet 3 times and never win , then i change the bet to 9 lines and 2cents( 18 cent bet) and let it loose about 30 bucks or so, then i hit max again for 5 or 6 times and i always jackpot!! –idk if its a good pattern or I’m lucky, but I’m starting to think of it as my own little ATM–ha ha good luck
