On my Dell D600, it won’t recognize a pcmcia wifi card I put in, but a different laptop will recognize the same card. Does this mean my slot is bad?
It doesn’t show anything wrong with it, do you think it could be drivers? But it seems like it would still detect something.

  1. Who Dares Wins Says:

Sounds like it. Right click on My Computer > properties. Now open the hardware tab. Click on the Device Manager button and scroll down the list to inspect & trouble shoot your PCMCIA adapter.
